New Board Members Aiming to ‘Shape the Future’ Of Colchester Business Support

Colchester Business Enterprise Agency (Colbea) has announced the appointment of two new members to its Board of Directors.

Kate Everett, Managing Partner of marketing agency TWI and Jo Clifton, Director of human resources consultancy Heptagon HR, have been invited to join the Colbea board and appointed unanimously.

Kate and Jo have both long been associated with Colbea as sponsors, trainers and associates. Speaking about the appointment Kate says:

“I have had the pleasure of working with Colbea for more than fifteen years. I get to see and experience first-hand the incredible contribution their work makes to the local economy and business community through its delivery of essential support services to Essex businesses.

“As a sponsor, TWI helps to enable Colbea’s invaluable work, and I hope to help expand on that and help shape the future in my role as a board member. We have a fantastic team of leaders on the board, and, with the vision and passion of Ashleigh our CEO, I look forward to being part of exciting times ahead.”

Jo, who also launched and runs Colchester’s Biscotti business networking events, says:

“I am a strong supporter of our local business community and have been impressed by the impact Colbea has on both new and established enterprises; including the inspiring work they do with women in business.  Having worked with Ashleigh as she developed the new shape and direction of the organisation, it is a pleasure to continue my relationship with Colbea, joining a committed Board, to help make those aspirations happen.”
