The new Chair and Vice Chair of IoD Essex to offer their thoughts on the year ahead

Business leaders across Essex have been invited to join the new Chair and Vice Chair of IoD (Institute of Directors) Essex for a breakfast meeting in March.

The event, due to take place at Hylands House in Chelmsford on 25th March, offers an opportunity to learn about their plans for IoD Essex in 2020 and to connect with other IoD Essex Ambassadors, IoD members and guests to expand your network and share thoughts on the year ahead.

Following welcome drinks and pastries, both the Chair and Vice Chair will deliver short presentations from their areas of expertise.

The new IoD Essex Chair is Ross Chaplin, Managing Director of The Training Team Ltd, and franchise owner of Sprint Communications, a fast growing telecoms company based in Essex.

Ross said: “I want to play an active role in continuing to evolve services that are fit for purpose, desirable for our members and that add real value.

“I believe that I can make a really positive contribution to assist em in the future. I believe that the role must continue to encourage local entrepreneurship.”

The new IoD Essex Vice Chair is Alison Shadrack  – founder and CEO of Adia PR  in Colchester who previously held the PR and Media Ambassador role for IoD Essex.

AIison said: “As Vice-Chair, I’m keen to play a role in promoting the positive impact our IoD members have on society and actively support them in their own journeys to grow purposeful, responsible organisations.”

The event, sponsored by chartered accountants and tax advisors Rickard Luckin, will be held on Wednesday 25th March from 7.30am to 10am and is open to IoD members (£15+vat) and non-members (£25+vat).
