EACH launches ‘Good Enough for Gifts’ range just in time for Xmas

Christmas will be here before we know it – and now is the perfect time to get organised and start buying presents.

For those short of ideas, new, exciting and affordable gifts are now on display at East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) shops.

The Good Enough for Gifts range features everything from clothing and bath sets to children’s toys and games.

The special seasonal selection was launched on Monday, with all the items cherry-picked as ideal gifts for families and loved ones.

Sarah Throssell, EACH Head of Retail Central Operations, said: “We’re very excited and rightly proud of our Good Enough for Gifts range.

“There’s always so much to think about in the build-up to Christmas.

“Sometimes it’s hard finding the right presents but we genuinely believe these gifts will give people lots of ideas and options.

“The Good Enough for Gifts range is now on display in all our shops, with items specially chosen by our team as ideal gifting ideas.

“We’ve got everything from bath sets and children’s toys, games and puzzles to selected clothing, beautiful books and much, much more.

“As we all start thinking about Christmas gifts, this is a lovely opportunity to reuse and regift – and it’ll also be kinder to both the planet and your bank account!”

Meanwhile, EACH has also launched a new range of ‘everyday’ cards.

They feature a selection of designs for every occasion, including blank ones for your own message, and start at just 99p.

EACH cares for children and young people with life-threatening conditions across Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk.

It relies on voluntary donations for the majority of its income and, every year, needs to raise over £5.5 million from fundraising and £5.4 million in income from its 44 shops.

EACH’s Retail team won a prestigious Third Sector Enterprise Award in September.

The award category was for a social enterprise or charity that has ‘significantly improved its income from commercial activities in recent years’.

From 14 shops in 2014, the charity now has 44 across East Anglia and in 2019, EACH was recorded as the second-fastest growing retailer in the annual Charity Shops Survey.
