Recycling your Christmas Tree for a greener Christmas!

Recycling your Christmas Tree for a greener Christmas!

Helen Rollason Cancer Charity is working in partnership with JustHelping to launch it’s very first Christmas Tree Recycling campaign, which we are really excited about! As a charity we try to be as environmentally friendly as we can, looking after our environment and being able to provide a cleaner world for the next generation, this campaign enhances that ethos.

Once the festive fun is over, we are offering supporters the opportunity to take the hassle out of getting rid of their tree, no needles in their car, no trips to the tip and fuel savings! We will do all that for you! We simply collect it and recycle it for you between 6th-8th January 2023.

We cover the postcode areas: CM1, CM2, CM3 2, CM3 3, CM3 4, CM8, CM9, CO5 0, CM7, CM7 7.

We welcome a donation, and in exchange for the charity’s voluntary team will do all the hard work for you. Any money raised will go towards those living with cancer within your local community. We are also proud to be working alongside other local charities such as; The Museum of Power and Friends of Cressing Temple Barns  who are hosting two of our recycling points, in exchange for them hosting us we will also be making a donation to them, so not only will you be supporting Helen Rollason Cancer Charity but your donation will go towards supporting other local organisations, which is amazing and a great way to see local charities working together.

We are hoping to recruit a few more volunteers and tree collecting vans for this event. If you or anyone you know may be interested in helpings us over of festive collection weekend, please contact the Fundraising Team: [email protected]
