Ellisons Solicitors strengthens its Property and Family team in Tendring

Leading regional law firm Ellisons Solicitors strengthens its Property and Family team with the appointment of Pauline Hodgson and return of MaryCarmel Wilson.

Pauline joins the firm as a Senior Associate Solicitor into the property team while MaryCarmel bolsters the family team’s presence in Tendring following her promotion to Associate Solicitor. After a busy start to the year for the team Pauline and MaryCarmel will help to continue delivery Ellisons’ excellent customer service across the Tendring area.

Pauline brings 12 years’ experience predominantly gained in property law and specialises in all aspects of residential property law, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases of both unregistered and registered property.

Speaking on her appointment Pauline Hodgson said: “I am incredibly excited to join the Ellisons team. The firm has an incredible reputation and provides services to clients across a whole host of areas with a range of specialisms which makes it an exciting place to work. It has been a busy start to the year and I’m looking forward to hitting the ground running to continue providing the second-to-none client service that Ellisons is known for. I live in Tendring so it is also exciting for me to be joining a local firm!”

Pauline joins from Martin Elliott & Co Solicitors where she has been a Solicitor since June 2018.

MaryCarmel returns from maternity leave and will be the Family team’s lead contact across the Tendring offices following the retirement of Nicky Coates. MaryCarmel has been a part of the Ellisons team since 2014 and was promoted to Associate Solicitor in 2020.

Speaking on her return to the office MaryCarmel Wilson said: “It’s been a strange year for everybody. However, I am already enjoying being back at work and having contact with clients and colleagues, albeit remotely at the moment. The family department have a strong presence in Tendring and I am really looking forward to taking over the mantel left following Nicky leaving. The family law team at Ellisons is one of the best in the business and coming back to lead the team in Tendring fills me with excitement.”
