Chicane Connect has proudly supported The Somerville Foundation, a local charity that supports patients with Congenital Heart Disease (CHD), for many years. The charity partnership is part of the company’s commitment to making a positive contribution to society and the communities it operates within.
This week marks the 26th anniversary of the Foundation and Chicane’s Managing Director, Robert Kemp, is celebrating this milestone by embarking on 26 flights for 26 days in order to raise funds for the charity. And in case you’re concerned that Robert is not adhering to the COVID-19 safety rules, the activity is actually 26 ‘flights’ up and down his stairs at home, every day, for 26 days.
Robert Kemp, MD of Chicane Connect said: “We are delighted to be supporting The Somerville Foundation, at Chicane we provide confidence in an uncertain world for our customers, so I see a real link between our ability to create resilience through our services and the work that the Foundation undertakes in creating resilience for those affected by Congenital Heart Disease.”

Chicane has previously supported the charity by installing a telephone system at its Headquarters and continues to support the Charity with telecoms and donations. Last year, Chicane donated £5,000 to the charity to support ongoing operations.
Chicane Connect is committed to helping its clients, colleagues, and the wider community deal with the current unprecedented crisis caused by COVID-19. The business has recently announced a reduction in the cost of subscription packages for clients, old and new, providing financial stability during these uncertain times.
