As of 6th April, all new employees & workers WILL HAVE the legal right to a statement of written particulars from their first day of employment. It’s imperative that you know the law is changing.
From this date, all new employees must be given a written statement of employment particulars on day one. This applies to workers, as well as employees.
Existing employees, and former employees will also have the right to request a written statement which complies with the new rules. This applies to everyone whose employment started between 30 November 1993 and 6 April 2020.
