In a survey by MDG Advertising 67% of consumers say that the quality of a product image is “very important” in selecting and purchasing a product; findings backed by Cherry Beesley, professional Photographer at Simply C Photography, who knows only too well the value that professional, quality images can bring to a brand.
“As a professional photographer, I’ve worked with businesses of all shapes and sizes. Truthfully, I’m less interested in the scale of a business than I am in the scale of its ambitions. Because in this digital world, with the right approach to photography, even the smallest business can present a digital brand and presence that enables them to compete with the biggest players in their industry”
Cherry was recently commissioned by up-and-coming CBD oil brand Love CBD who wanted to elevate their brand online, by creating images that would enhance their digital advertising and supercharge their social media profile, to ensure their products could capture a larger chunk of the CBD market share.
“To meet the client’s ambitions, I took a series of clean product photography images that would Simply jump out of the screens on e-commerce sites” Cherry explains ” They also needed the images to work on the product pages of their glossy and sophisticated looking website so I took a range of candid lifestyle shots. These would add an extra dimension to the website, and drive the desire of users that came across their digital presence”.
Confirming the findings of the MDG survey Cherry believes that businesses should look at their branding and product photography as an investment and one that will give a tangible ROI.
“Because with your ambitions, and my camera and expertise, you’ll have everything you need to stand toe to toe with the biggest names in your industry”.
